Cure for MRSA - mrsa cure

Cure MRSA

It is very difficult to cure MRSA as it has become resistant to most anitbiotics.  There are only a few remaining antibiotics that can cure MRSA.  Such antibiotics that can be used to cure MRSA are: Clindamycin, Linezolid (Zyvox), Tetracycline, and Vancomycin.  The antibiotics will not completely cure MRSA unless the entire prescription in taken, many times when patients begin feeling better they will stop taking the medication and the MRSA infection will return.  Medication given through a vein, and kidney dialysis is also used to cure MRSA.

What is MRSA?

Methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) more commonly referred to as a staph infection, is a bacterial infection that is resistant to the antibiotic methicillin.  MRSA is commonly found on human skin.  The bacteria can spread into the bloodstream by way of an open wound or cut, breathing tube, or catheter.  MRSA in a mild form can cause boils and pimples, but in a severe form can cause blood infections or death. When you discover that you have MRSA, or a staff infection, it is important to start preventative measures to ensure spreading of the infection. As soon as you notice a pimple in this fashion, or a boil, begin cleaning it on a daily basis, preferably day and night. Once you're done cleansing the area, use a disinfectant spray, rubbing alcohol can be used as well. Make sure to keep the area as dry as possible, to aid in this, keep the area covered with a band-aid or a bandage of some sort. Because this bacteria can spread not just on your body, but also to other people, try to make sure that you're not sharing towels when swimming or sweating. Take extra precautions by not drinking after people, or by allowing them to drink after you. When you're doing laundry, wash your clothes separately from other members of your family, or roommates.

If the boil or pimple has broken open, immediately see your doctor for prescription medication. Usually, the use of penicillin was used in order to treat this infection, but as mentioned earlier, through over usage of such medication, the bacteria has become immune to it's affects. Much stronger medication must be used now, which has become a worry to some doctors. The areas that can bMRSA infections can cause severe life threatening damage to the bodye affected by this infection are areas around your face such as your mouth, ears, nose, and your neck. It is important to keep sweat away from these areas, as the sweat can carry the contagion to other parts of your face and body if not wiped away immediately. From not being careful, you can touch the infected spot, and by simply touching another part of your body, you risk the chance of that area being infected as well.

MRSA can attack those who have weakened immune systems and areas of which are of high population, or those in sports that are high contact such as wrestling, football, and soccer. These outbreaks have happened in other places such as jails, training camps for the military, and even in communal showers. What studies are now showing is that homosexual men are at a higher risk of developing MRSA infections.

Since the resistance to medications is becoming a problem, MRSA that enters into the body and bloodstream can cause other bodily harm. Areas that are affected by this infection is first your bloodstream, your lungs, heart, joints and bones. The bacteria will begin to take over these areas, killing off white blood cells, weakening your immune system. From there, the bones and joints of your body will begin to decay and weaken, making your body fragile and raises your risk for breaking your bones.

Well I have one on the crease of my butt where it goes into my leg. It looms just like the pictures & keeps getting bigger & draining. I bought this ointment called StaphAseptic that us supposed to help from getting mrsa. Looks like I may have bought it too late. If nothing seems to work, what do I do? How do I keep my 5 year old or boyfriend from getting it? How did I get it?

Alot of people in my family were getting these, and come to find out my Aunt was a carrier but wasnt infected herself. I didn't have to go to the doctors for mine, I had one appear on my back and my mom would drain it, and keep it clean for me, then put black salve on it. I'm not sure what the doctors do, but she would squeeze out all that puss like stuff. Because to her, black salve healed everything. I haven't had one since, but like anything that can live on the human body, and not affect us, it has everything to do with your immune system. Take vitamins, eat healthier, exercise.

I've been getting MRSA boils for almost 3 yrs now. There is no "cure", no matter what anybody tells you. I have been on ALL of the antibiotics, nothing rids it completely. That's the sad fact.

Well, I went to the Dr. an he said I had a abscess/staph. But it was on my torso...He gave me naprosyn, for the pain an swelling. An it was only one. In my opinion, it didnt help. I was still hurting as a big whole was forming. My skin was being eaten away by something. It started with just a black dot (like a pimple or so) an it just started getting bigger....but red/ white. Then there was a hole an pus stuff was leaking out...an the whole was getting bigger. So, I 'had' to go to the hospital...he said it was a spider bite...brown recluse.

dont make fun because i got staph/mrsa from taking care of my niece when she got out of the hospital and have gotten several of these things on me. It sucks and i dont wish it on my worst enemy. I wish they had a viable cure because nothing has worked. Antibiotics are B.S because they come back and then the antibiotic doesnt work. Probiotics and good hygiene has worked thus far.
